Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to join the Diviworkplace team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, with a good understanding of modern web development practices.

You will work on building responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing websites using WordPress, themes, plugins, and custom development. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting website issues, implementing new features, optimizing website performance, and ensuring that websites remain secure and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress websites based on project requirements
• Customize WordPress themes and develop or modify plugins according to business needs
• Convert design concepts and layouts into functional, responsive WordPress websites
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress, theme, plugin, and website-related issues
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, responsiveness, and search engine visibility
• Work with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar tools
• Integrate third-party APIs, forms, payment gateways, and other web services when required
• Manage website updates, backups, security, and ongoing maintenance
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to deliver projects on time
• Test websites across different browsers and devices to ensure a consistent user experience

Requirements

• Fresher as well as hands-on experience in WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and website administration
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with WordPress customization and basic plugin development
• Familiarity with MySQL and WordPress database structure
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• Understanding of website performance optimization and basic SEO practices
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find effective solutions independently
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Bonus Points for Familiarity with

• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Experience with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or other WordPress page builders
• Knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce website development
• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as React or jQuery
• Understanding of WordPress security, caching, CDN, and performance optimization
